Prosecco (Glera)

Prosecco is native to the north west of Veneto around Trieste and up into the high hills towns of Conegliano and Valdobiaddene. Now officially known as Glera in its place of origin – to distinguish it from the wine of the same name, it is still Prosecco everywhere else. A rather neutral variety as a still wine, it shines in its sparkling form.
